I can’t really believe it yet, and I try to play it down to myself and others. It’s not a “real” short story, it’ just a story about my life. A bit of a CV to be honest. But still, it’s my very first text to be published in a book. Yay!
How did this happen? Well, a friend told me about the organisation, Liv i Sverige (Life in Sweden), and that they were about to celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2022. As part of the celebrations they will publish an anthology of 40 texts about life in Sweden. I entered the contest and my text was approved! It’s one of the 40 chosen ones.
The book will be printed and published around the time of the anniversary celebrations in March 2022. More to follow…
